2Smile You would be surprised how much of an immediate difference physically smiling has on your mood, if you smile and force a little laugh you will feel your mood lighten and you won't have to force it next time.
Smiling
Notice something enjoyable. It could be something from any of the five senses. Seeing a cute little puppy, hearing a funny joke, feeling a fluffy cat, smelling fresh cookies, or tasting ice cream are just a few examples. Or maybe it could just be a memory.
Using the cheek muscles, push the tips of your mouths upward. Show teeth, unless that makes you look bad, in that case, just keep your mouth closed. You may want to release a small giggle if you heard/did/said something funny.
Now don't be an idiot! Stop smiling after several seconds.
Observe something that makes you angry. This could also be picked up by any of the five senses. Seeing the girl of your dreams with someone else, hearing someone make fun of you, feeling a prickle, smelling something that BURNS, or tasting worms are a few examples. It also could be a bad memory.
Using the same cheek muscles as to smile, pull the tips of your mouth downward. You might want to furrow your eyebrow, but only if your feeling evil. Maybe evil an evil chuckle.
Unlike smiling, keep doing it until the bad thing goes away, you don't feel like frowning any longer, someone tells you to stop, or your cheekular muscles get tired.
